This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit www.coniferresearch.com or participate in our services.

During your participation in this Market Research, the Agency will collect information about you, which will include your personal information in order to contact you and compensate you for your participation – for example, your contact details (such as name, address, email address, and phone number), and where you work. Conifer Research will not use your information for any other purpose than market research. The Agency may also utilize audio and video recordings (including, but not limited to, video recordings of your face).

We collect First and Last name, current address, phone number(s) and e-mail address, Demographic information including: age, income and marital status. When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We use the information we collect from you for: Documents used for recruiting and scheduling participants, and our accounting system (for the purpose of issuing and tracking participant compensation). Additionally, we use this Information to:Communicate with you;

Screen for potential risk or fraud; etc.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).


SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is your sole responsibility to understand any potential conflicts of interest created by your participation and to satisfy any necessary reporting obligations in connection with your participation.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.


DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.


YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Conifer Research complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Conifer Research has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. DATA RETENTION

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
